How about a BA in Anthropology & Sociology?

Study Anthropology & Sociology in one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse countries of the planet:  Guatemala. UVG offers you a 4 year BA in Anthropology & Sociology or a 5 year Licentiate (you need to write a supervised thesis for this degree).  After your BA or your Licentiate, you can also take a 2 year MA program in Development Studies at UVG. For a fraction of what you would pay for a college in a developed country, you can get a high-quality degree with an added bonus: field work experience.  All our students have to go through at least 8 months of field work, during which they learn hands-on skills in social research methods and applying Social Sciences in real development programs in rural Guatemala. Our Professors are experienced practitioners and trainers in Development and Applied Anthropology and Sociology.
